The inspiration of this black and white portrait series is to depict people of all ages, ethnicities and backgrounds. Portraits of everyday people around the world. People from the community. It may be the elderly woman who shares her wisdom with me, the gentleman who rides his bike that passes my house every day or the man who takes a nap on the bench, in the afternoon, at the local park. I want to capture the faces of humanity in hope that the viewer will experience compassion and empathy, to better understand people in general.
